My name is Daija Brown and I’ve been working in Cybersecurity for over 13 years. I started my career in the U.S. Navy, where I learned networking, radio communications, Information Assurance Management (IAM) and how they work together. After I left the military, I spent time as a contractor for the Airforce and the Department of Defense. In those roles, I specialized as a Bluecoat proxy and Palo Alto firewall expert. In my current role, I assess third party risk analyst for cloud and AI vendors to determine their potential risk to my organization.
In my free time, I like to indulge in the arts. I listen to music daily, and I paint when I have time. Recently, I attempted pottery and will likely add that to my new list of hobbies.
